Bats in Trees
Bats and their roosts are heavily protected by law. Therefore it’s an offence to disturb bats and/or their roosts. Bats can and do often roost in trees.
Bats are very small and can hide in trees or buidlings without the owners knowledge.
We have 2 licenced bat workers in the company who can help identify if your tree contains suitable bat friendly features. We can help you through the planning process.
We also do training with Inverness Bat Group and we are members of the Bat Conservation Trust.
There are 4 kinds of bats commonly found in the Highlands.
